Since 2015 is almost over, I will look back of the year 2015. I have experienced a lot of exciting things both at work and in my personal life this year.
Workwise I started the new year still studying which ended in the middle of March. And I passed all 3 courses.
When I came back to work a couple of months passed before I got some changes in my tasks. While I had been away some changes had happened which did that I lost some of my tasks. So in the start of July I started to work in the Visitation Unit again. So now I work at Visitationsenheden (Visitation Unit) 4 days a week and 1 day a week at Hørecenter & Synssamarbejde Midt (Visitation unit for the hearing and visually empaired).
In the late summer and autumn there were certain areas at work which were a little vulnerable. So I helped, as good I could, in these areas. And I know my help was appreciated.
In december my colleagues and I got some of a surprise when we found that our boss was going to stop since she had found a new job. So her last day as our boss was going to be on 31/12-15.
I haven't been to many concerts this year. I have actually only been to one concert this year. And that was with Take That in October together with Karina. We were supposed to see them in 2011 but the concert was cancelled. So when the day for the concert arrived we were both a little anxious that this concert also got cancelled. It didn't and I had one of my best experiences in my life. It was though a little surreal to see them on stage.
An experience I had looked forward to was to see Shu-Bi-Dua - The Musical in September. We were 5 Gurlier who went to the premiere in Fredericia. The musical was FANTASTIC. I would recommend every danish person to see it. I had some exciting hours where I for the first time met 2 former members of Shu-Bi-Dua, who were there that night. We also got to talk to some of the other former member of Shu-Bi-Dua. We also got to talk a bit with Michael Bundesen, the lead singer of the band.
2015 was also the year I went to New York. I went on a 2 week holiday in August. And I had 2 wonderful weeks, where I experienced at lot of things, met with a friend who lives in NYC and got to see a Broadway muscial. My experiences can be read in my diary from New York.
Now I have looked back at 2015 I will look ahead since there will happen some exciting and interesting things in 2016.
Workwise, I will get a new boss. So far there has been appointed a temporary boss and we will see what happens next. We are also going to move from we are right now into a new building in the spring so it will be exciting how it will turn out. I will also start studying again. It's part of the course I started last autumn. I will study once a week from February til May. So I look forward to that.
Time will only tell if I will go travelling next year. And if I do it may not necessarily be a trip over the pond.
