Travelling and Experiences ;-)

I'm in a point of my life where I feel very contend and happy. I have had a lot of experiences the last couple of years. Experiences I'm so thankful for and will never forget.

I enjoy my work. There was been some rough times at work at the start of the year but it's better now. I work 2 places but still have the same boss. I love being both places. I have some wonderful colleagues who are starting to know me very well. Every time I get time off from work they ask me what concert I'm going to this time since I love going to concerts with some of the different artists I love. ;-)

I've always been shy even though I'm not shy as I used to be. You sometimes need to go out of your comfort zone to learn about yourself and about life and that's where travelling comes in. My travelling started back in 2008 where I took a trip to see Bryan Adams in concert in London, England. A trip I remember very fondly. It was a great concert and I got to hang around with some great people. That trip put something in motion...And my life would never be the same. :-)

Back in 2011 I was on a trip of a lifetime when I went on a 2 week vacation to Los Angeles. Just me and a whole new city in a whole new country. When you go on a trip like that you can't be shy. Especially when you're travelling on your own. I do have to say that I got a small breakdown when I arrived at my hotel in Hollywood. It was there I suddenly realised that I was finally in the city I had dreamt of visiting for a while. And realised I just couldn't go home if something happened back home. After the small breakdown which didn't last for that long I had a wonderful trip. It's a city I would like to visit again and hopefully will.

Last year (2012) I went on a trip to the Canadaian part of Niagara Falls to see "Band From TV" in concert. The reason for this particular trip was that I had met Bob Guiney who is in "Band From TV" while I had been on vacation in LA the year before. He had asked me if I was going to Niagara Falls the next year. At that time I said I didn't know since it was probably going to be an expensive trip. When I came home I in the end decided to go. I met some great people and the 2 concerts I went to was awesome. I had a great time there. And yes, I did see the waterfalls. ;-)

This year I also went to Niagara Falls to see "Band From TV". Of the 2 years I have been to Niagara Falls this year have to be the best. I went to 3 concerts instead of 2. They do 3 concerts the same place and this time I knew I had to see all 3 concerts. The people I got to spend most of my time with is so nice and wonderful. We really had so much fun together. It was nice seeing some of the people I had met last year. And it was nice meeting some new people. Don't know if I'll go if "Band From TV" is playing there again next year. But if they play there and I can get everything in place then you'll probably see me rocking in Niagara Falls. ;-)

Later this year I'm going to take another trip...And this time there isn't any music involved (as far as I know.. or at least not yet). I'm going to visit a new friend I've got in Canada. The main reason for planning this trip was because I've had a dream about celebrating my birthday in another country than Denmark (my home country). So this year I'm not home for my birthday. ;-) I'm really looking forward to this trip and looking forward to spend some time with Kat and with everyone who I will meet. :-)
